#3 Movediço is about what moves, what changes place, what is inconstant, what isn’t still. Marta Cerqueira and Simão Costa had a young public in mind with this project aimed at stirring thoughts about our relationship as humans with other beings in the universe, whether animal, vegetable or mineral, and ponder about what moves or is moved.

Marta Cerqueira (Lisboa, 1983) studied classical and modern dance. With a grant from IPAE, she developed a study programme in several schools in New York before continuing her training in Berlin and Lisbon. She has been involved exclusively with creative and interpreting work since 2001. Her interests lie in the practice of choreographic composition and interpretative dance not only through the human body but also with other material/matter to choreograph.
Simão Costa (Lisboa, 1979) is a pianist, composer and trans-disciplinary artist. He trained at the Conservatório Nacional and Escola Superior de Música in Lisbon, and Codarts, Rotterdam. He explores sound as plastic, phenomenological, visual and cultural material. His work practices include composition, improvisation, code, circuit bending and data sonorisation. Founder member of MãoSimMão, he works in collaboration with artists such as Marta Cerqueira, João Calixto, Yola Pinto and Marco Santos.
