Coin Operated is an installation-performance, where the dialogue with the public is direct and the continuity of the performance depends on the dynamics of this same dialogue. The mutation between installation and performance occurs through the public being invited to introduce 1€ coins into the slot of two horses where Jonas and Lander are sitting in a suffocating immobility. With this work, Jonas&Lander intend a new approach with the spectator, in which the latter takes an active role in the consequence and dynamics of the action.
