Coreografia para uma santificação [Choreography for a sanctification] emerges from mythological and biblical figures such as Salome, Maria Magdalene and Helen of Troy. Mélanie Ferreira and Tiago Vieira examine the link between the sacred and the profane in their work. The body is seen as a place of annunciation, miracle, sin and desire. This is a dance that approaches the inexplicable. A landscape of feelings where the present body transports within itself other women who are demonised to a greater or lesser extent.
