Artistic Residencies

In 2024, Pedra Dura set up a network of Portuguese and international partnerships with a view to promoting artistic residences during the festival. They were aimed at establishing direct contact with communities, the territory and the artistic direction’s programming.  These residences started out as invitations made to artists to come and continue their ongoing creative work/research or else prepare a piece that would be premiered at  PEDRA DURA – Festival de Dança do Algarve.
