When her first daughter was born, Márcia Lança found herself confined to a solitary lifestyle in which defining traces of what had been were barely more than vague. My
domestic life is a collection of 144 photographs and what is left of that period. They are a visual domestic delirium, which deeply inspires the whole process of creating Cavala [horse-mackerel]. This solo is not about maternity. This solo is an exhibition of the horse-mackerel in her natural habitat, a species of zoo of domestic life in which
the spectator is invited to observe the existence of that cyborg of daily life.
