Queer Art Lab is a safe place for experimentation, creation, art exhibitions and intervention in the LGBTQIA+ community. It brings two artists to Pedra Dura for a week’s residence in Lagos, where they will carry out their research and will then present their work.
Izabel Nejur will present Gigantesca, an immersive chameleon-like piece.
Gigantesca seeks to transcend the conventional limits of artistic expression, diving into a poetic and literal journey through force and insistence.
Gigantesca is an engaging and chameleonic work that develops in a continuous process of transformation. Izabel Nejur dives into a deep immersion within the sound and the visual landscape, where their memories serve as a guide in their search for an insistence that transcends the physical, manifesting itself in a sweaty and poetic way.
