neverstopscrollingbaby is a continuous flow of information, a relentless physical stream of content, a game of pumping accelerations and oscillating hormones. In their first project together, Alessandra Ferreri and Joshua Vanhaverbeke explore the dynamics of our hyperconnected, superfluid, internet-based reality; A reality constantly in search of sensation, stimulation, and exhilaration. The result is a solo performance that triggers a permanent tension between stimulation and frustration, by cultivating and stretching expectations; It’s essentially a pornographic strategy: we always want to see more and at the same time we really need it to stop.

VITAMINA is a fascination for raw human behaviour, directed by Alessandra Ferreri and Joshua Vanhaverbeke. We see our work as an attempt to process modern existence through choreographic practice. We develop a language based on the new semantics of our post-digital neoliberal turbo-society, with a particular interest in the display of excess and representations of the obscene. We consider these as fundamental aesthetic phenomena of an emerging market-driven mythology which is rapidly transforming and expanding our reality.
